Michael Tran

Michael Tran is a freshman at Boston University studying Applied Mathematics and Economics.

As an athlete himself, Michael understands how difficult it can be to keep sports equipment clean and fresh. Between practices and games, gear builds up sweat, moisture, and odor. He saw a need for a better way to care for equipment, especially for student athletes who may not have access to the same resources as professionals. This inspired him to bring professional-level sanitizing and disinfecting technology to athletes at every level.

As the founder of Rinkside Sani, Michael handles everything from sales and marketing to daily operations. He focuses on growing the business, building its online presence, managing orders, and overseeing finances and customer service. His goal is to bring technology already used by 28 NHL teams, 17 NFL teams, 6 MLB teams, and 165 military and law enforcement agencies to student athletes.
